The Ryuo's Work is Never Done! (りゅうおうのおしごと! Ryūō no Oshigoto!) is a Japanese light novel series written by Shirow Shiratori and illustrated by Shirabi. The first volume was published in 2015, and a total of 8 volumes have been released by SB Creative under the GA Bunko label. A manga adaptation with illustrations by Kogetaokoge has been published in Square Enix's seinen manga magazine Young Gangan in 2015 and has produced 6 volumes. An anime television series adaptation with 12 episodes by Project No.9 is premiered on January 8, 2018.

Originally, the series was first published as a light novel work by SB Creative’s GA Bunko label in 2015. Currently the series has seven volume along with the limited edition having a bundle of a drama CD to go with it. It was in the same year that Kazuki and Kogetaokoge launched a manga adaptation of the novels in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine.
