Kousuke Kiyotaki (清滝 こうすけ Kiyotaki Kōsuke) is the supporting character of the series. He is a 9-dan shogi player, the master of Yaichi Kuzuryuu and Ginko Sora and the father of Keika Kiyotaki.

Kousuke is an old man of average build and height with short graying hair along with a moustache and beard, green eyes and he wears black glasses.
He is primarily seen in a traditional Japanese kimono.
